Mixed Berry Cobbler (So Easy!)

My kids love it when I make anything with berries. Especially when I make them this berry cobbler, which they love to enjoy with vanilla ice cream. I personally love having mine with some yogurt. Whichever way you serve it, it’s so good.

Ingredient you will need

For the filling
- Fresh orange zest
- Honey: or you may use maple syrup
- Cornstarch
- Frozen mixed berries (don’t thaw them out)
For the topping
- Quick oats: rolled oats will work but i prefer quick oats for this one.
- All-purpose flour (cake flour is fine, too).
- Coconut sugar: cane sugar or brown sugar will also work.
- Kosher salt
- Ground cinnamon
- Coconut oil, melted
Optional: vanilla yogurt ice cream, for serving
How to make Berry Cobbler
Preheat the oven to 350°F and follow the following instructions below.

Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add the frozen berries, zest, honey, and cornstarch.

Step 2: Mix all the ingredients together.

Step 3: Transfer the frozen berry cobbler mixture to the baking dish and bake for 12-15 minutes. Make the topping for your mixed berry cobbler by combining all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix the ingredients to make a texture like wet sand.

Step 4: Remove the dish from the oven, stir the berry mix well, then sprinkle the topping over. Bake for a further 35-40 minutes. Serve warm with froyo or vanilla ice cream, if desired.

Recipe notes
- Mix the berries gently to prevent crushing them too much.
- I like to spread the topping over evenly, leaving some space for the luscious berries to bubble through.
- Cool for 5 minutes before serving the berry cobbler. This time lets the ingredients set a little.
- You want the topping to be golden brown and delicious and the berries sticky and bubbly – don’t whip it out of the oven too soon.
